FX-USI-0002 (also commonly written as FC-USI-0002) is a universal safety interface/communication module for Honeywell Safety Manager systems, belonging to the Triconex safety control system family. It is used for isolation, protocol conversion, and data exchange between safety systems and external devices (DCS, upper computer, third-party devices).

Security isolation gateway
Equivalent to a hardware firewall: isolates the Safety Manager from the non safety areas (DCS, upper computer), and prohibits external tampering with the safety logic.
