Original factory inventory window period: From 2019 to 2022, there will be no new complete machines shipped from ABB’s original factory after 2022;
Current situation of market supply
There is no original, brand new stock available for bulk supply, and only three types of circulating goods are available:
Years of accumulated inventory and leftover goods (with very little stock and high premium);
Used parts for dismantling high-voltage frequency converters;
Third party repair and refurbishment, IGCT chip replacement and repair parts;
Original factory maintenance support: In 2023, the original factory will stop supplying spare parts for this model of power chip and driver board, and only third-party power electronics manufacturers will provide board level maintenance and chip replacement.

5、 Usage Specification for Machine Replacement
1. Original inventory of brand new complete units
The ACS6000/ACS5000 power cabinet can be directly replaced:
Dismantle the old power unit after the whole machine is powered off and discharged;
Align the water-cooled interface, fiber optic plug, and power bus buckle for locking;
Perform insulation withstand voltage and fiber optic communication circuit testing before powering on, and conduct a 2-hour no-load trial run without any alarms before carrying on the load.
