1、 Product Overview


T8461 physical picture
T8461 belongs to Rockwell ICS Triplex Trusted T8000 safety control system, and is a 40 channel high-density TMR digital output card. The original model is subdivided into: T8461, T8461C, which adopts 2oo3 the third mock examination redundant hardware architecture, single channel internal three channel independent circuit voting, and single point hardware failure without interruption output. It has passed the T ∨ V IEC 61508 SIL3 safety certification, and is specially designed for ESD emergency shutdown, safety interlock, fire and gas protection and other high safety circuits.
Core redundancy principle
Each output channel is equipped with three independent driver circuits, and the internal hardware voting unit outputs the final control signal; Single slice fault → fault-tolerant continuous operation; Two slice faults → safety shutdown output, meeting SIL3 «one fault tolerance, two fault safety failure» specifications.
