SST-PFB-SLC is a PROFIBUS DP adaptation module designed specifically for Allen Bradley SLC 500 series PLCs. It serves as a bridge connecting SLC PLCs with devices on the PROFIBUS DP network, enabling data exchange and control. This module supports the PROFIBUS DP protocol and is compatible with SLC 500 series PLCs, ensuring seamless integration of the system. In addition, the SST-PFB-SLC module also has the ability to flexibly configure and adapt to different application scenarios.

In terms of technical specifications, the SST-PFB-SLC module has a working voltage of 5VDC and can provide a PROFIBUS interface, an RS-232 serial configuration port (CONFIG), and an RS-485 interface port (PROFIBUS DP). It enables SLC 5/03 or higher processors to communicate with DP remote I/O devices on a PROFIBUS network and can act as a PROFIBUS DP remote I/O scanner for up to 96 slave stations, with 244 bytes of input and output data per slave station.
